Loss of movie on DVR

Has anyone lost an event on their DVR? I went into it the other night to watch a movie I had recorded and noticed that one of the movies wasn't there anymore. I am the only one at home this week so there isn't any chance of an accidental erasure. Any thoughts? Thanks

I'm pretty sure all of them do that. I have a 625 and it's true. If you don't have enough room on your harddrive it will start at the bottom and "write" over existing programs if you do not have those programs protected.

That's been true since the original Dish 501 PVR.

I have a 622 and it is far, far from being anywhere near full. I have 26 hours HD left and 172 hours SD left. I understand overwrite issues but movies do not simply disappear from the HD.

My 522 keeps deleting timers for some reason. I have not figured this on out yet. I missed a show that other night that has been recording fine for weeks and all of a sudden the timer is gone from the list.
