lost locals and missed Preakness

There is an uplink center in Mt Jackson, VA that has allot of the locals from the East coast cities
Hemi... I did a search and when E10 went live 3 years ago the uplink reports use to say which area like New Braunfels, Monee, Spokane, Cheyenne, Mt Jackson
Looking at a few threads Mt Jackson seems to be the uplink all along the Eastern seashore from NC up to Maine
edit: did a search and if your location is correct, you are in the Scranton DMA, right?
If so, your locals are on 119 and are unlinked from Cheyenne...from an old thread
and thelist matches the same satellite (119)....the OP's locals come from 110

Yea my SD locals are from the 119, and I still Have a Wing at the 61.5 for my HD locals from Scranton. I can't confirm if those were on .

I think only the 110 locals are uplinked from other areas but I could be wrong. I know 119 is all uplinked from Cheyenne
In order to have spotbeams there needs to be more than one uplink center to reuse the uplink frequencies for the beams. 119 uplinks come from Gilbert, AZ and Cheyenne.

I've seen posts from Maine to Houston mentioning they lost signal just before the race only to have it come back 15 minutes later. So this one place in Virginia goes down due to bad weather and a good chunk of people lose their locals? And this is somehow not DISH's fault for depending on this one place for the service to thousands of customers?
Why is it that I Never Ever Hear about D* losing channels do to storms at the uplink centers? I can't ever remember D* ever losing service (except for rain fade) in the 5 years I had them.
E* I can count 4 in Less then 2 years that lasted longer then 15 minutes.

I should have said I missed it live, I have OTA and saw it in replay.

We receicve our locals via Sat 110 TP 26.. My locals went down at about 6.05 PM and returned about 30 mins later. TP 26 was the only one effected. How nice. Yep I missed the Preakness as well. And I lost my friggin bets cuz Friesen Fire failed to fire and Bob Baffert's prediction that Pioneer of the Nile would be run his best race was a bust.My locals went out here in Connecticut just minutes before the race and came back 15 minutes later. Missed the damn race! Thanks DISH.
