Im new to this site but have been with Dish for 12+ years. I have PM'd a couple of DIRT members that were online with no response. I was told this afternoon that I am in a Low Beam Area and could not get an upgrade to the Hopper 3. I have read about every post on here with this issue and found that most was resolved by the DIRT team. I also have read that you need the 1000.2 satellite and your signal strength should be over a 50. I have both of these going for me and am just wondering why I could not be upgraded. The DISH service rep just sounded like they did not want to deal with anyone today - maybe a bad day or something. However I was just curious if someone out there could help shed some light on the situation. Thanks.

I am one of those who you PM'd, but I am not a DIRT member. ;)
I am sure someone will assist you.

Missing some channels...Is it from the Tribune ordeal?

Ethernet connection to Hopper3
