Well I finally made the switch from D*. Hate to leave since it worked great. Last time I had Dish it I had tons of problems but I have a family member who installs for dish so I'm thinking I can get "free" support this time. 
I signed up online thinking I would bypass the check to see if I was a returning customer. well they got me. they called and said I can still sign up but I have a 18 mo contract. I was kinda bummed. but I really want the hd. I tried to use a club dish but they wouldn't let me. they wanted to push a 4 room dvr (one sd and one hd) but I only need two rooms plus I didn't want to pay the extra fee's. install set for next wed. hope E* works out better this time or my wife will kill me.
