MAJOR issue with VOD

Sometimes, when I'm downloading VOD and recording 2 shows at the same time, one of the shows doesn't record properly and I have to delete it. It shows nothing but black. This invariably happens with the show that I'm most interested in watching. It hasn't ***** me over too much yet, an episode of scrubs, a movie my wife wanted to watch, and an episode of Aqua teen which I'm pretty sure will be on VOD soon enough anyway.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is it my slow connection screwing all of this up? (in a scant 2-5 hours I'll be getting 6mbps cable) What's going on here?

Are you saying that one of the VOD downloads messes up? Or a regular recording? You can only record on VOD at a time. The unit queues them up sequentially. I did get one that didn't work. Just tried again the next day.

No, the regular recording will **** up with the VOD. I just got cable internet, so we'll see if that fixes it, I'll reply again in a couple hours to fill you guys in.

You do realize that this is a family site don't you? As to the problem, yes this happens to me. I try to avoid recording two programs off of the satellite and one off of VOD at the same time.

Yep language is not allowed. Sometimes we all get ticked at one another and it happens to fly, but it is very frowned upon. If we find that a user is doing it on purpose or constantly ignoring the rules, its subject to warnings and a Ban if necessary. Thats the rules. All we ask is you follow them. We love to discuss all things related to satellite, but we want open discussion without the fears of any future satellite guys learning bad language from here. There are enough places that can be learned from the Inet. We don't want to add to it.
