Cool. This looks like an old episode of Ripley's Believe It or Not. I wonder if anybody else has tried it since. According to this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cvn9l1pJ3-A in the conversation they state that that island was destroyed by a storm in 2005 but he has built another one in 2008.

Definitely Ripley's. That's quite something, though just floating around the world randomly like he eventually wants to do might wash him up into some places he'd rather not be at. I would think those plastic bottles would deteriorate eventually too.
