Maxtor One Touch?

I've seen the postings about the Seagate External Hard Drive problems...do these problems also exist on their Maxtor One Touch line?

I currently have a small (160GB) Maxtor Basics drive that I already owned hooked up and it works fine, but I'm thinking about upgrading to something with more storage.
