GREAT site, lots of good content.... on to my question.... I have a HTPC and am looking to purchase a FTA sat card but im wondering are there any FTA sat cards that MCE will support?? Or would I have to use another program to get it work? Any help is appreciated.

I do not know for sure, but have not heard of any sat cards being supported in MCE. You can have the audio and video from a sat box feed into the audio and video inputs of your MCE capture card. This works with Directv, but do not know if it supports any other. MCE has a learn function for the remote for switching channels. The program guide with MCE is very good, very detailed and easy to use.
Twinhan just released a driver to support their cards under MCE.
