When accessing a media server (e.g. Playon) via my Directv box, I can pause, but not fast forward or rewind. Am I doing something wrong? Are there any plans to enhance that feature?

Trick play is only supported for the Viiv media server (which is obsolete). Pause works, but only for a short time.
This is why I purchased the Western Digital WD TV Live Plus HD Media Player.
It works very well with video, audio, photos, and can access YouTube videos and Netflix (with subscription). Outputs 1080p.

Without trick play, I don't see how playon via the directv box is a viable option. I thinking about buying a second roku box for the other TV instead of using playon.
