Wish they would adress the slow channel changing...and bring it up to speed as with other fTA boxes...

Well..I got what I was asking for..just installed the updated firmware VO139 and all is well!!! Thanks Fortec..

yep...not that young anymore..LOL..just a old fart from the early C-Band days..

The previous software release was 133 - so clearly there was several other changes besides the names.
But I did not find channel changes to be slow with 133 - were you using that version before updating ?

LATER: I just did the update - and the satellites still have all the old names - because I did a Channel Backup and Restore.

It seems that the Channel Backup stores the satellite names as well...

(I checked the names before the Channel Restore, and they had indeed changed to "Galaxy 25" etc.)
