MeTV coming to Austin, TX soon

MeTV will be launching in Austin TX on KTBC 7-4 Fox O&O station soon
7-1 FOX
7-2 Movies!
7-3 Buzzzr
7-4 MeTV

This will give MeTV coverage in 49 of the top 50 markets (only outcast is Hartford, CT)

Interesting note....Since its a FOX O&O I wonder why it didnt get H&I when FOX signed the deal with them? There is no H&I outlet in the market...

A. Why post it in 2 threads? This one was kinda for Austin, TX whereas the other thread you posted in was a Media General one
B. "Soon"...we all know how that worked out the 1st time

Is it not on now?
MeTV site just says "7.4" but doesnt list any date which usually means its on now

Yeah I know the soon could take up to a year or more, i.e. the Grit issue with some Raycom Stations..

One of the most popular over-the-air digital subchannels is (finally) coming to Austin.

MeTV has signed a deal with Fox-owned KTBC that will put it on channel 7.4.


The station said it expects to announce soon when exactly MeTV will make its debut.
