Channel 295 is not in my guide but if I search for MeTV Toons on my C61K it shows the channel 295 I;the search results showing that Tom & Jerry is on. If I click on it…it takes me to channel 295 showing the Tom & Jerry cartoon.

If I just punch in 295 on my remote it says "Channel Not Available". The only way I can get to it is via search.

I can confirm as well that this trick works on Satellite. Just did it on my Genie too.

Does not work on Osprey box.
Use to could do the voice search and say channel number and it would play any test channel. But Directv quickly fixed that.

Seems like a no-brainer, especially given how popular the cartoon network ch. was before it was progressively decimated by its ownerships. Even if they don't do any original content, it has to be better than what that ch. now is.

While they don't have any first run cartoons, they do have original hosted segments for Toon in with Me that's similar to what some local stations used to do for their kids blocks.

i.e. back in the early 90s Svengoolie's actor Rich Koz hosted "The Koz Zone" that wrapped around FOX Kids on WFLD Chicago

Is MeTV Toons HD on DirecTV? Not that it makes a huge difference with so many older cartoons, but here in Chicago, when there are cartoons on MeTV Saturday morning, there is a clear difference in quality when watching on the 720p HD feed vs the SD subchannel.

Nope, SD - also, is there even an network HD feed available? (Kyl416 can probably confirm this...)
