Mirror Hopper

Okay, so I ordered a Hopper and 2 Joey system to replace my current system (612 and 2 x 211 with the 612 mirrored). They are tell me now (on installation day) that the Hopper can't be mirrored.

Can anyone confirm or deny? I have 2 hours to figure this out until the installer shows up.

If by mirrored you mean sending the same output via the HD and SD outputs, I believe that is possible.

But if you are using the RF output. to TV2, you will need an RF modulator added.

not using the existing coax that's run between the Hopper/Joey and the node. That coax line needs to be clean and unmodified or it will disrupt the frequencies that the system uses.

There are plenty of alternatives like running a second coax line. Depends on the ability to run extra wire in your home (if there aren't any extra lines already).
