Missing buttons for direct messages and alerts

Is anyone else missing buttons for direct messages and alerts? This is happening on my PC browser (Firefox) AND phone (Chrome). They are usually to the right of my user name. I can hover over the area and they are there but there is no visible button/icon.

I still see them to the right of my user name using Safari on iPad and Firefox on macOS 27.

I am missing the "sandwich" menu on the mobile version... if I tap where it should be, it works, but it's not visible

Seeing them here, Try clearing your cache. Or going incognito and seeing if they appear there.

(Just like DNS issues... its always Foxbat)

In the comfortably_numb post the image shown is not a .gif. It shows as a .webp file. Could be the forum software is replacing .gif files with .webp versions of it. Also tried to quote his post and it doesn't work for some reason.

Rick's site has looked the same since Jesus was in the third grade and it still works fine.. just sayin'

This morning at around 8 AM I did a security update of the Forum Software and took us up to the newest version. (2.3.13)

I am guessing some cached stuff was not updated on the CDN servers automatically like it should and that was what was causing the issues.

There have been no changes of the look of the site or the style since we updated things for our birthday last month. With that said please remember the old style is also still available at SatelliteGuys Classic.

I was intending to do other work but things got nuts at the office and didnt have the time. I didn't see this post until a few hours after it was posted.

Hopefully things have stabilized now. If not please give me detailed report of whats wrong so I can figure it out as things look normal for me.

Right now on Safari on my macOS 27.x iMac and on my iPadOS 27.x iPad the quote function is not working. It lets me quote something and appears it is working but when I click the button to"...Insert Quote" it doesn't add the quote into the text box. On this post I had to copy the text then use the quote button in the toolbar to create a blank quote and then paste the text I had copied which doesn't give you quote info in the quote...as seen in this post

b4pjoe, I'm seeing the same behavior on my iPhone 17 running iOS 27.0.1 ("Insert quotes… button does nothing)

Also, I'm seeing the same thing comfortably_numb is seeing with the GIF submenu:

I will look at these things tomorrow, as I have to get to bed as I have to take someone to the airport for 6 am tomorrow. I will figure them out... I normally always do. Lol.
