Missing HD channels

I was able to obtain an HR20, so I could use the OTA input, to replace the HR21 that I was originally given by the installer. I installed the new receiver and got everything activated and I notice that several HD channels are not showing up. Is this typical? the lady that activated my receiver stated that it could take 24-48 HRs for all of the channels to show up in the guide but when I had my install I remember all of my HD channels being in the guide right away.

I just want to make sure it is a matter of waiting for all of my channels to download or do I need to contact tech support?

check the favorites and see how it setup. see if your box is using a custom channels list or all channels. I suspect this might be a used dvr and someone else had it setup using a custom channels listing.

Which ones are not showing up? That can help diagnose what is happening.
