Hi

I just put evu back in

Worked for a few hours but now it said chk switch and
says: 82 port: 2b odd transponders missing

I am running on old sw-21 switches. But they wouldn't both
go out. Maybe an lnb died?

Been a while since i did satellite so I am a bit lost.

Thanks

total nonsense.

Nimiq 4ir is running out of fuel once again just it was replacing 4i on April 28th, 2007. where the heck is Nimiq 4, they keep on holding back the launch. I feel Bell got scared by last week's anomaly with the Russian rockets. Sea-launch is better since it's closer to the equator. :eureka

Here we go again... another one.

well,

To get back on topic :)

Do you think my problem, which still exists, is lnb or sw021 related?

Since it shows on BOTH inputs, I am inclined to think the lnb went out, having sat for 18 months with no power and shorted or something.

ideas?

Skip the SW21 and hook up directly from the LNB to the receiver. Do a check switch then check the TP's. Start the process of elimination.

You mean plug one of the 82 lnb connectors into the receiver sat2 connector and one of the 91 lnb connector into the sat1 recvr connector?

I thought that setup would make it so I couldnt get dual tuner capability.

I have a spare dual lnb, so I guess I'll swap out the 82 lnb for the new one and see if the problem goes away.

try the new LNB but I would try running a line from 82 to the receiver and see if you get both polarities...if you dont then its the LNB :)

I had this happen a while back and simply unplugging the receiver for a minute and then running the switch check after plugging it back in was enough to correct it.

Move from Dish to Bell ExpressVu?

My LNB is correct but!!??
