satellites are missing from the satellites list and they are not on sat inatallition list how do i fix this thanks

Did you do a factory reset or install new firmware?

Are all satellites missing from the satellite list or is the list showing European and not North American satellites?

If satellites are missing from the satellite list, you either need to install a new list or manually add the missing satellite(s). Do you have the back-up file that you made after purchasing the STB?

Not sure which firmware version it was but a feature to add/edit the satellites was added. To see if you have that capability you can select Menu > Installation > Satellite Installation and then press the Sat button at bottom of remote. If your firmware is the correct version you will see a list of satellites you can scroll through and press the Green button to edit one you don't use and then save it as another sat. If not, you will need to upgrade your firmware.

Think this is what you're looking for:

Button Pressed > Description
-----------------------------------------
MENU
L/R/U/D
>> Scroll to INSTALLATION
OK
SAT
U/D/L/R
>> scroll to desired satellite
OK >> to add or remove it from the Installation Menu (Check mark = added)
or
Green >> to edit name and location
or
White >> to move it's placement in the list
or
Red >> To scan the highlighted satellite

If the name you desire isn't there, use the Green button to change the name of an unused satellite. Also change the satellite position (Especially if using USALS) Then the White to move it's placement in the Satellite Installation list.
