Missing Timers

My wife and i have the hopper 3. We've swapped out hoppers several times. We still have shows regularly not record nowhere near the timer limit either we're sick of it. Thinking about switching to direct tv.

Good luck with that. You should read some of the threads about the DVR problems Directv's users have had since Directv started rolling out their new User Interface. One notable example is that timers set for network shows on the local affiliates actually try to record on the national network feeds (which those subscribers do not qualify for or receive) resulting in missed recordings. At least Dish does not have that particular problem.

Had a timer for the Olympics on NBC Sportsnet this afternoon disappear without a trace. Last week, it was the final episode of Tesla's Death Ray on Discovery.
