Blizzarding out today so I favor staying inside... 8 deg F and 50 mph winds and snow so it's not nice out there! Perfect day to play with satellite stuff as long as it is inside.

On 103W 11942 V 20000 there are two video feeds from Huntington Beach, both with no audio.
On the radio side of same transponder one stream with nice audio (5417). What I would like to do is add/edit the audio stream AIDs of the two video channels (4642 and 5154) to add AID=5417 in my Azbox. Tried doing this under "special scan" and "TP edit". Removed the existing AIDs and inserted 5417. "ok" and exit.
Didn't work, channels kept original AIDs
Tried doing a scan after re-entering the AIDs. Same issue.
Deleted the two video channels and added them under "TP edit". no channels
Went back and entered again VIDs and AIDs etc. Then TP scan. Nada.
Went back and did a regular TP scan and channels come back as before.

Has anyone been successful at doing this?

Hi Ice,
Might try deleting the channels, re-boot the box, then add the info manually.
I have all 3 CW channels on 91, that works fine after a couple of tries if I remember correctly...

Hope your weather in MSP is nicer than here!

eh a little bit... 21 feels like 8 with snow ;)

I just tried the above and couldnt get it to work. I tried a few things.
If I load the pids in with as example
PCR 5154
Video 5154
Audio 5417
SID can be whatever
the one above it I put 33 as that is what the normal channels are

and save it, the receiver wants to freak out and it wont work

If I change the PCR to 8190 the audio will play but the video is herky jerky....you can see it when the waves move
I tried to load the channels in on a TP scan then edit the pids...that wont work either

dang for once the CS5000 is easier to change PIDS.....scanned the channels in, went channel edit and edited audio PID...voila..WCPE music on the video channels

Yes I got the same results... jittery video but good audio. The azbox just doesn't like it mixing and matching streams.
I did it before on the Pansat likely the same result as your CS5k.
All in fun I guess, never know unless we try. :)
