On DTV Channel 732 right now instead of the Indians/Red Sox game there is a PPV screen which says "Press SELECT" on Buy Now to purchase Indians vs. Reds for $24.00 or select showings for other times"

WTF?????

BTW, the channel was turned on for viewing about 1/2 hr. into the game.

and you expected DIRECTV to do everything right? How long is your directv screwup logbook now? :D

If DIRECTV reads this thread, you might have given them an idea for 2010. Sell EI by the season, month, or even game - or even sell individual teams games if eligible if you have one that is a diehard fan of one team and lives out of market. i.e. If you wanted to watch the Dodgers chance to clinch the NL West tonight (of which they did when the game ended), offer it on PPV if you are eligible (out of market) for say $10.00 for the game.

Ahhhh, DirecTV logbook. I have one of those. :)
I didn't buy EI this year. 1st year I didn't buy it going back to 1996.

The Reds games was supposed to be in HD too, even showed in the guide but all I saw when I turned to that channel was a Directv logo. I am betting it was because of the Sunday Ticket.
