<div class="bbWrapper">How many?? is it 6 because they are all sharing the same transponder? That&#039;s just crap if it is.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">8 HD sports channels at 129° and another 5 HD Sports channels at 61.5° can be active at any one time so I guess the answer to your question is 13.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">And there is room on other transponders right now if they need it so there is no reason why Dish should not be showing EVERY SINGLE RSN HD GAME.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><blockquote data-attributes="" data-quote="db2" data-source="post: 1397479" class="bbCodeBlock bbCodeBlock--expandable bbCodeBlock--quote js-expandWatch"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-title"> <a href="/xen/goto/post?id=1397479" class="bbCodeBlock-sourceJump" rel="nofollow" data-xf-click="attribution" data-content-selector="#post-1397479">db2 said:</a> </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-content"> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandContent js-expandContent "> And there is room on other transponders right now if they need it so there is no reason why Dish should not be showing EVERY SINGLE RSN HD GAME. </div> <div class="bbCodeBlock-expandLink js-expandLink"><a role="button" tabindex="0">Click to expand...</a></div> </div> </blockquote>Amen.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I don&#039;t know what transponders they use on 61.5, but historically, they&#039;ve been using 129 tp8 and tp27 for RSN games. That would allow for 12 or 14 simultaneous games. I think the uplink reports filter those moves out now.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">129 Tp 8 can have 6<br /> 129 Tp 27 can have 4(this Tp has some fulltime national HDs on it)<br /> 61.5 Tp 30 can have 7<br /> <br /> The uplink reports for the 6:10 AM EDT sports moves are not posted. The source channels do not move anyway and they determine how many different content channels can be on those transponders at the same time.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">NESN (61.5) broadcasts every Sox game in HD, home and away. There have been at least five NESN games not available in HD so far this season (Yesterday&#039;s was the most recent). I&#039;ve seen similar threads for other teams here as well. <br /> <br /> Based on this available bandwidth for HD RSNs, when there are an excess number of channels broadcasting a game in HD, are they rotating who&#039;s left out or are they actually just making a lot of scheduling mistakes?? Last month I called to try to find out why that night&#039;s game wasn&#039;t available in HD, the CSR said he was &quot;aware of the problem&quot; and would see if he could &quot;get it fixed&quot;. Lo and behold a few hours later, the guide showed the HD was available.<br /> <br /> Was it truly a scheduling mistake, or because myself and others called and complained, I wonder if they bumped another game and replace it with the Sox??<br /> <br /> <a href="http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-network-forum/135836-red-sox-game-nesn-not-hd.html" target="_blank" class="link link--internal" rel="noopener">http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-network-forum/135836-red-sox-game-nesn-not-hd.html</a></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">NESN would like for you to believe every Red Sox game they telecast is in Pristeen HD, but it ain&#039;t necessarily so. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /><br /> <br /> They would not likely bump a game just to do the Red Sox HD on DiSH.</div>

We do not have that channel in HD or the game is not a HD broadcast.<br /> <br /> Now that I know the problem is Dish&#039;s limited HD capacity I do not waste my time calling Dish about the game not being in HD.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Don&#039;t give up. A few weeks ago I noticed that a Cubs game was not in HD on 429. I called DISH and complained. Within ten minutes it was up and on in HD!</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Dish is doing 7 channels per TP now on 61.5? DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder CSN-Chicago HD looks like poop now!</div>
