Anyone know of any plans for DirecTV to broadcast some MLB Extra Innings games in HD on some of the "special event" channels like they have been doing for the NBA (same spot where the NFL games were)?

I have already been seeing some spring training highlights from NESN HD on sportscenter and would love to see as many of those games as possible in HD

Those NBA games are generally either:

A NBATV HD game or

Dallas Mavericks games aired on HDNET (only for the Mavericks viewing area).

I haven't heard anything about MLB:EI in HD, but I wouldn't bet on it.

no games designed for the MLB:EI package. But D* shows the HD feeds for the fox owned fox sports rsns only (only 1 game at a time as well) see this schedule for a general idea of what you could see if you're in the home market for one of these RSNs: http://msn.foxsports.com/name/HD
