Hi guys,
As some know, I most years consider getting the MLB Extra Innings package.
My Detroit Tigers are no longer the Detroit Tigers ....

With most of the main guys gone now, I would like to keep track of them.
I have a feeling that J.D Martinez will end up in Boston (I hope anyways).
Justin Verlander is in Houston

I'm thinking I may pull the trigger this year and actually do it.

Directv EI is a possibility, but I don't know how much it cost this year yet.

What other good options do we have out there and how much investment ?

I have my Directv stuff and a Roku Ultimium or whatever the name of that is ...

Any thoughts and ideas welcome.

The more flexible is the online option unless it is now included with the EI option on Directv or DISH. Then you can watch via Roku, on a computer, mobile device etc... and there are other features only available online.

IF, I do get the E.I. package, it would be available to me on the D* recvr as well as the Computer /thru D* webpage and on my phone and tablet via the D* app as far as I can tell.

I go through MLB and get At Bat. Since I am a Vet, I also get a discount and I think my price was around $75 for the season. Included radio and TV of all games, unless blacked out.

Seems as if the price is around $99 though.

MLB AT Bat.
I'll have to look into that and see which works better for me.
1 advantage with the EI is its all on the same system, on my D*, change channel your there ..
With At Bat, I would have to fire up the ROKU (I think I would get that thru my Roku).
If you just putzin and skipping thru channels, thats a little more inconvenient.
Then again, its also about $75 cheaper.

After looking at the At Bat page it looks like it really prefers Apple stuff over Android.
My Tablet is not supported (Samsung Tab 4, still waiting on the new Tab S3 w/att service).
My Cell Samsung S7 will work.

Does this also work on your computer (desktop ) ?

I have used it on my work PC but I have not tried it on my Mac at home. It works quite well on that PC.

It works great on my iPad and iPhone of course but I mostly use my Apple TV to watch games at home. I have used my Roku from time to time and it works fine on that too.

Thanks for the input ...

Hi guys,

I hope not.....I think he wants to be a Dback as he's expressed many times. The Red Sox reportedly have offered Martinez something close to $125 million over five years, and he still hasn’t taken it. He's waiting for a best offer from Dbacks and if close I have a feeling takes it.

I think he stays with ther D-Backs IF the offer is comparable.
I wish they would start signing people, this is ridiculous.
