Every year as soon as the iPhone is released there is a ton of speculation on the next version. They also, for the past few years, have said a June release date, but it does not happen. I wonder if it is competitor leaks to keep people from buying if it is only a few months until a new one?

When other manufacturers bring out a new phone, nobody starts speculating immediately on their next one.
Apple really knows how to play the media.

Apple somehow still is managing to occupy the imagination of the tech world, poor Samsung keeps trying with killer products, but Apple keeps getting all the speculation.
