More than one hdtv

Is it possible to hook 2 hdtv's to a single 622 receiver or must I purchase a second 622 for the other hdtv? Any help would be appreciated.

Both tv's would be viewing the same channel if you used one 622. HD feeds are only on TV1. To have separate viewing you would need to purchase a 622 or 211.

You could connect TV 2 to the second HDTV to give independent channel selection but that would be a SD feed.

Or you could connect tv 2 to another HD port (comp. or hdmi) on the 622 and watch the same HD channel on tv2.

TV 2 has a specific meaning when discussing the 622. The solution you propose is the same one mentioned by gdarwin but in that case both TVs would be using the TV1 output.
