Mounting A Dish Brand Dish On A Directv Mount

My old Directv Mount has a 2 inch pole. Will a new dish from Dish fit on it so now new holes need to be drilled?

The Dish Network pole diameter is about 1 5/8" diameter, so the DirecTV pole will not directly work, but there is an adapter out there that bolts on top of the DirecTV pole and adapts the size down to the 1 5/8" needed for Dish.

Adapters appear to be on eBay.
