Mounting a Slim Line 3

I want to pole mount a Slime Line 3 in the ground. I have a heavy duty 1-5/8 inch pole. Do I need to have a 2 inch OD and if so is there a sleeve to put on my 1-5/8 ploe?

A slimline will spin on a 1 5/8 pole. I've seen adapters on eBay made out of plastic that are supposed to work.

I thought there would be a problem with the 1-5/8. Does anyone know what to search for on ebay for the plastic adapter. I haven't found it yet.

I found some pipe at Home Depot that was about 2-1/4 inch OD. What is the max OD you can use?

Go to a fence supply place and get a 2" OD pipe.

I have one sitting in the garage made of plastic, it works well, I use it for the camping sat set up.

That said, I would not choose to use it that way FULL time.

Thanks for the response. I have used the 2 inch PVC before but would prefer steel. We do have a garden tractor place in town. I will try them.
