Move Receiver from one room to another

I want to move Receiver from one room to another but the cable is not long enough...what do I do...other than call dish to come out and pay $95.00...

I am sure you can find a local installer that will come and do it for a bit less.

Get a barrel connector with a proper rating and extend it yourself with some RG6 wiring. That would be much cheaper.

Best is a feed-through or barrel connector with a blue core vs. white. Red many work. White is not rated for separator (band stacked) frequencies but will work short term.

On my second 722 install they would not let me keep my working wall plates with white one--or they would walk away without leaving the receiver. I had to go back and replace the raw cables coming through the wall-plate with the larger reversed-to-fit blues barrels.
