Moved some files off my old hopper and onto a replacement. When I tried to play any of them the next day - none would play - black screen.
After calling dish tech support and being lectured about the type of drive that I needed to use I did some further testing.
Moved two new files off the hopper to a usb drive and back on - checking to see if they played each time - all was well.
The next day, both files would not play.
Last night, moved two new files back and forth and checked them. Then I unplugged the hopper overnight and plugged it back in this AM.
Both files played - no problems.
