I would like to "move" from San Diego to Phoenix to be able to watch Padre games. My question is can I still keep San Diego locals?

The padre games are on a cox cable channel. cox is not offered where i live so i need to extra innings to watch the games but it is blacked out because I still live in san diego county.

You'd be better off in LA. More channels. No SpotBeam issues. Also, when DST is not in effect, the clock and guides on your boxes will be off by an hour. The upside to Phoenix is programs start an hour earlier during DST and 2 hours earlier during nonDST months.

But now that Dish will almost certainly not have MLB EI this year, your plan goes out the window.

If your set against going back to the greedy cable bastards, you don't have many good options. You almost stuck having to stay with Cox Cable.
