If I upgrade to DISH HD I would want to "move" as my locals are not offered. If my receivers are connected to my existing phone lines it would be obvious to Dish that I really hadn't moved. Do they check this or even care?

all they care about is that the phone number to which the receiver is connected is the same as the phone number associated with your dish network account. "moving" doesn't change either so don't bring it up and they won't ask.

The phone number my receiver is connected to does not match the Primary nor the Secondary phone numbers listed on the account.

moving was really easy. only issue was that i mistakenly 'moved' from Austin to Houston w/o checking the spotbeam coverage, only to discover it was not a great signal. a few days laster i 'moved' to dallas. this was in march. CSR just took my info w/o asking me 'why' the rapid moving around.
