Hi

We are gonna move upstairs television, and 522 Receiver, and I"m wondering if we will have any problems using RG-6 Cable, hooking it up to existing cable in the floor, and then hooking up to receiver on other side of room, as well as 25 foot signal to where Satellite signal comes from the in wall outlet.

My TV is currently (TV2) is currently on that side where the cord comes down at. Not really fond of moving my TV around just because they move there's upstairs, but if I must in the future I guess I will, so wish I could afford HD Receivers for both, and get rid of Dual Tuner, pain in the rear sorta when want to change stuff around.

Well looking forward to replies

The cable lengths are 25 feet, and will be hooked to existing cables with coaxial extenders or whatever there called.

HaD Dish Network out recently to tighten Satellite on roof, but then they didn't want to change it around up there.

Computer has to really stay where it's at, since DSL modem goes into Phone jack in other room thru the ceiling--how condo maintenance person that wired the jacks did it in the basement. I guess always could use longer phone cable if I had to. and Outlets are nota problem, have outlets all over this basement--10-15 outlets, 4 outlets in each corner as well.

Should work ok since the cable length increase is minimal. Just make sure you use good quality barrel connectors or you may run into issues further down the road.

Thanks for replying, we are using Philips barrel connectors, gold ones, bought at Lowe's where we got the cable, so I guess those should be good, (we shall see once we do move it up there sometime to it's new spot).

Thank you for that reply though..just wanted to be sure it would work ok.

Extra Dish/Channel options in my area? Need Help.
