Moxi dvr, What external hard drive

hi there everyone,

i just got my charter installed and have the motorola movi dvr. what external hard drive can you use? will anything work?

From what I gathered it must be a usb2 compatable drive. Also 7200 RPM. There was also something mentioned about the cache.

Western Digital -500GB MY BOOK ESSENTIAL ED USB 2.0 7200 RPM 16MB EXT
Part Number - WDG1U5000N

It does a great job for me.


As you just got the moxi installed a piece of advise. Make sure you have plenty ventilation, she tends to get a bit warm.
