I've gotta ask.

Are these LIL HD channels really MPEG4, or are they like ESPN2HD and Universal where they are MPEG2 with MPEG4 headers?

The only reason I can see NY/LA being MPEG-2 is to give equal bandwidth to the other channels that CBS enjoys. Since CBS is a distant HD to many DMAs they probably do not want to change it to MPEG-4 right now.
