well MSNBC HD is on Dish, you must not have the package it's on or live in Hawaii/Alaska

It's channel 9511 it's not in my absolute package but I see it listed in red.

It has been on for several months in the Silver and Gold packages. Channel 209.

Hardball is my favorite news show.

You have to have Classic Silver 200 or Classic Gold 250 channel package as well as the HD pkg.

Sounds like OP has Turbo Gold.

I believe the channel is in the "Classic" Packs + HD, but are not in Turbo.

Thanks for the heads up. I assumed that since I had the all HD package I would be getting this channel, and not have to buy SD programming to get its HD signal. I bit the bullet and upgraded/downgraded to the Classic Gold 250 + HD Package.

It might not be E*'s doing. Fox wouldn't allow its HD channels in the all-HD lineups nor would Viacom allow Nick, MTV, VH1, and BET HDs. I'm guessing MSNBC may be another one where the provider denied inclusion.
