We use a 722k with a Sling Adapter to watch TV from our PCs. Initially, it worked well. However, since Dish Remote Access is gone and Dish Online is the only option, we are able to make and keep a connection maybe 40% of the time. Our service for local stations is via satellite. I'm wondering if installing an MT2 OTA module might improve service for local channels. Any thoughts?

Check the channel from the receiver directly using a TV. Does it display OK for long periods? If so, then getting an MT2 module won't help what is really a Sling Adapter network connection problem. (It will give you two more tuners to use if you want to record locals a lot.)

At least right now, you can still get to Dish Remote Access via this login link: https://customersupport.dishnetwork.com/customercare/equipment/processSatTimer.do. Try that as well and see if it works OK again. If so, then it's a DishOnline server problem. Good luck!

Much depends on your OTA antenna. Your profile has you west of DC. You should be able to pickup all of the DC digital channels. All you need is one RG6 cable & the antenna. Make sure that the antenna is VHF & UHF. Your ABC & CBS are VHF channels. Try the link below.
