I’m in located in Arizona and I’m new to this satellite stuff.

I have a Dish network 1000.2 antenna with triple LNB, with 119, 110 & 129. I’m only running 1 receiver, part # VIP211K.

I have 3 RG6 cables run from the antenna; I need to know what part I need to connect the 3 cables together to run 1 cable to the receiver.

Is it a multi switch?

If so which one?

Does it require electrical power at the multi-switch? It would be very difficult to get electric to where it is located.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

It does work when I connect the 110 or 119 to the receiver.

Why does it have a connection for each LNB? I thought maybe it picked up the strongest satellite signal or was required to get specific channels?

Thanks!

The 1000.2 dish can feed up to 3 dual tuner receivers. Each output will feed a receiver. As mentioned above, just connect one of the cables to the receiver and run check switch (Menu, 6, 1, 1, check switch).

The three "eyes" are for three satellite locations. One for 110, 119 and 129. The switch is built-in and all three signals are output thru all three ports on the LNB. There is also an input to add a wing dish for another satellite location.
