VIP612 Channel Banner Won't Go Away

This just started Yesterday (08/03/10).
When I use the guide and select a channel to view, the unit goes to the channel
but ,the channel banner at the top will not go away. I have to push the info button 3 times to get rid of it . I don't know if I have somehow programed the banner to stay on or what has happen. Any information is appreciated...Sonny

Tried a soft reset?

Tried unplugging for 15 seconds?

The Fluxmaster got stuck and tripped the overdrive conbobilation. Hope this helps.

from reading other posts this is why it happened
