My 942 is constantly rebooting!!

Lately while recording and at the same time watching the show I'm recording, my 942 will freeze and reboot itself. This has happened as often as twice an hour.

Has anybody else had this problem?
Is this a software issue?
Is my receiver defective?

Bad hard drive perhaps? If this happens all the time - definitly call Dish technical support.

As Ilya said, unfortunately it sounds like you have a bad unit. If you give tech support a call they should replace it for you.
