I thought we were in 2010 but I just had my cable setup and they delivered two Scientific American HD boxes that do NOT have HDMI. They hooked up the component cables but I just can't believe the boxes don't have HDMI.

I called and asked if I can get a box with HDMI and they said only if I subscribe to DVR and get a HD DVR box.

I can't wait to move out of this apartment so I can get satellite.

Is it true that Charter doesn't even offer HD boxes with HDMI?

I'm not saying it's necessarily a worse picture or sound or anything. I just really like having one wire as opposed to 5 huge wires.

I used to work for Charter as of a few months ago

Get rid of that box, why it's still in circulation is beyond me. Ask SPECIFICALLY for the 4250

Fairfield Ctny CT gain NY locals in HD, lose CT HD
