My Locals OTA suck

I dont know if it is just my locals but they suck. Half of the time when there is something on HD its not even played in HD. For example this monday i was going to watch CBS, Two and a Half Men, How Met your mother, CSI, but none of the shows were in HD. ABC and NBC do this to me all the time. Also, on sunday i turned on NBA on ABC and the HD was working but there was no sound, same went for college basketball on CBS. So i waited about 5 minutes and eventually the HD just turned off and just the SD was on. Just wondering if its just my local in Rockford IL, or if this has been happening to everyone.

It has to be your affiliates. Being OTA there can't be a better explanation.

Have you tried calling the affiliate engineer of said station during the issue? They are always eager to help.

Rockford Il affiliates

The Affiliates in Rockford all Suck!!! Low power, Wifr not in Hd when it is supposed to be!!! Wqrf in HD I will never live to see it!!! Analogs are horrible too even down near Rochelle!!!
