Doubtful to see a national feed unless they get more content. Most of the locals have it in SD, when there is an affiliate in that market (unless it's only a digital subchannel, and those markets could get it later on).
Good example being the CW national. They can only give it in areas where there is no CW station, (even digital substation counts against that) or where that local station gives them permission to do so.

Does Direct have a hd national feed of CW??
No, PBS and CW are available on distant networks but SD only. I thought that I read that PBS was to be in HD but as of yet it is not. Ron

Interesting...Here in the Rochester market we get 2 CW feeds, one comes through from Baltimore (Comes in as 14 iirc) and also one in the 380s. We do have a local CW but its a subchannel of the local ABC channel.
I was hoping they would do the same for My Network TV but I guess not
Supposedly, The CW will become a subchannel to our ch12 here. It's cable only right now. My Network is already a subchannel to our ch40. But, obviously we'll never get them in HD. I've lost interest in DirecTV ever delivering those channels in HD. I'll just use ch 385 (Washington DC CW). In fact, I don't even care if DirecTV ever gets around to delivering the other networks either. I get DNS for those. I also have an antenna for ABC, CBS, Fox and PBS.
