I have this older desktop pc, a dell, that is running windows NT2000. I used to be able to surf the internet with it just fine. Recently I had some spywire, issues, that have beeen resolved. However, I can't get the pc to log on to the internet. Everytime I try it tells me that the mobile tcp/ix or something like that, is not available. I have cable internet service via comcast, which works just fine on my laptop.

Anyone have an idea on what I can do to get my desktop back on the 'net? Is it possible to download a driver of some sort to help it along?
Thanks,

Darryl, aka Kountzer

Right click network neighborhood. Select properties.

Scroll down to the TCP/IP Protocol for the Network Card.

Click on it once.

Click Uninstall.

Then Click install. Add protocol TCP/IP. Reboot. That should fix it. Spyware sometimes screws up TCP/IP.
