I'm a bit leery of Nvidia high end GPU's. I keep updated on Nortwest Repair, Northridge Fix, and a few others on YouTube. All the same. Fried power connectors. Tendency to crack where the main board connector latch is on them.
A bit scary. Companies ditching warranties and just reflowing the core when they do honor them. Power connector repair denied due to claims of incorrect PSU plug connection.
But man! Talk about keeping up with the Joneses! You really get immersed in games.
As for "dirt cheap". After seeing a few clips showing too good to believe Nvidia 40XX and 50XX GPU's with missing cores and ram. Or fake ram swapped out. Scary.
At the least go for a Square Trade plan.
I'm a longtime Asus fan for pc builds. But as of late they scare me. Laptops, GPU's and mainboard failures.
