Walk over to your receiver and push the channel button either up or down to desired channel. Will have to do till you get another remote. I have a drawer full of various old DISH remote controls that I can fall back on if one of them craps out.

Sorry my bad. It's working bud most used buttons are out. (Guide, volume etc.)

Sounds like you just need a new remote. Dish will send you one or you can look on ebay

Can also pick one up at most Best Buy's and Walmart's.

Walmart no longer stocks the DISH remote.

Take out the batteries and keep pressing buttons on remote to flush any power. Then insert the battery and point the remote to the Tv.
