I have two 52.0 remotes paired to my H3 connected to my den TV and this morning neither would switch tuners...one of my favorite features. I don't know when U526 was installed but it is there.

I rebooted three times and then ran diagnostics. Everything checked out except "System Status" which never finished. Tuner switch continued to be non-responsive.

I phoned Dish for help and magically while I held for Tech Support both remotes started to work properly.

My equipment must be inhabited by gremlins. ;)

I had snow on my dish in NJ last night and lost signal. On the Joey 2.0 it was aquiring signal and nothing would work. I could not change to an OTA channel even. I finally got into the DVR and tried to watch something but it went back to the aquiring signal screen after a minute.

I'm concluding the system doesn't work well when signal is cut off. I don't know if this was your case.

Perfectly clear skies. No snow. No rain. Diagnostics reported both satellites and all transponders OK.

Maybe you temporary lost Internet connection.
I'm unclear why that would affect the remotes not working but internet was never lost.

Have you tried cleaning the snow off your dish?
No snow.

No snow.
It was worth a shot. All these things can affect performance. Although I don't know why no signal makes the system so unusable.
