I would let DISH upgrade you to eastern arc dish 1000.4. Then you could have all eastern arc setup and they could check your lines etc and that would eliminate the problems with the 77 sat.

I pulled all the cables off today, everything looked good except, the end that was connected on the input of the dpp separator on the 612, it had an extremely long copper core extending beyond the connector's end, so I sniped it even with the end. So far everything is working ok, only time will tell.
