They're suing me for screw ups on their end. The Judge looked at my Answer and sent it to Mediation. Where I was told that in our area it leans to the Defendant especially in my situation.

Optimum Fiber/Cable formerly Sudden Link.
The worst I have ever dealt with.
I had 1gig Internet and Cable with them. Constant box disconnects.
When the service when out you would wait for 45 min to an hour to get a rep, and then wait for days for a tech to come out.

The final straw for me was when we appeared to be losing internet often.
If I used a VPN, I could get online.
I figured out it was a DNS issue. It was hard coded into their gateway. Their support said there was no way to change it.
Then canceling took over 30 minutes with a rep on the phone who had to make up other reasons in here CRM software to let me cancel.
I tried to tell her that my call served as notice, and I did not want to spend the time online. She said, no way to cancel online, and I had to do it her way.
Oh... and I was billed for the next month due to their terms of service.
Worst company ever.

I switched to Fidium Fiber, which was good, and Dish for TV.

This month I switched to ezee fiber due to a promo, $49 per month for life, no extra tax or fees for 1gig fiber service. It's been great so far, and I actually get 1.6 gig down and 1.5 gig up at the modem.
Their customer service is excellent. Houston TX based, they speak English!
And... all of my calls got me to a live agent in less than one minute!!!
Highly recommended if you are in their area.

And the Southwestern Bell that they rode in on.
Now is that AT&T the complaints are for, or at&t ???
They are not the same, but the answer is probably Both

May as well add Cingular on to the list.

I never really had any issues with Ohio Bell either.

FedEx. Completely incompetent. I rarely lose my composure on the phone, but I almost went off with them yesterday.
We lost 17 Boxes at the local Fedex building, it was Spring, boxes had our Spring/Summer sporting clothes in them ...
We called and Called and no one had a Clue ... 5 months later, a guy shows up at the back door (we take deliveries in the Front door) says, I got 17 boxes for you .... what good is a shippment of Spring Clothes in Fall / Winter ?

Needless to say, we didn't order much the next spring.

Southwestern Bell (SBC) bought AT&T (less Western Electric/Bell Labs->Lucent->Alcatel->Lucent->Nokia Bell Labs) and put much of the stink on the marque.
