NASA TV on Echostar 7

In reading other threads Nasa tv should be free but I cannot get a signal when putting in specs eg. 12370 R (V) 20000-5/6 circular lnb etc.
I have a cs8000 and am very new at this fta venture.

Are you getting anything else to confirm you are pointed correctly? Such as a welcome screen or a multiscreen?

That is why I'm baffled...I am for sure on 119 because I get some music channels.
My sig quality shows zero when I put in Nasa specs... other freqs are 99% on this sat. ???

Dp you get any other channels like the Dish help channel and Angel One?

Hi Iceberg, when I input Angel One (12516 R ) my Quality signal disappeares. It didn't pick it up on the auto scan either.

have you noticed that the channels you can get are L and the ones you can't get are R , maybe 1/2 your lnb is out or the power setting isn't right. just a thought...

I had to turn the 22k switch to ON so my fortec classic na would get all the channels.
Give that a try.(It's usually in AUTO mode)

Thanks for your responses...I just rescanned for the the 4th time and now I have picked up Nasa, info and Angel one. Maybe my receiver is a little flakey???

I've had a few issues at first with NASA. Once you get it, it's fun to watch. I love the ISS to earth conversations.
