NBA League Pass,NHL Center Ice '15-'16

Reading through this and other articles about the NBA League Pass announcement, I don't see anything indicating in the announcement that would mean DirecTV or any other MSOs will be offering the single-game passes and single-team options for the upcoming season. I would love for them to end up offering the single-team option but I really doubt they will.

For quite a long time the NBA Digital platform of League Pass has been offering a Choice package which was 5 teams you would get to choose at the beginning of the season to get access to, it was typically $60 less for the entire season compared to the full all access to every team option. This single-team option sounds as if it's mostly just replacing the Choice 5 teams option....IMHO Hopefully though it will be cheaper $$ then the Choice 5-teams option has been.

I think the traditional MSOs (D*, DISH, Comcast, Cox etc) will still continue to only offer the full TV package with all the teams and games included with the broadband and mobile support as well just like they have before...
Especially when you read this quote from the NBA.com article:
These new offerings will be made available during the 2015-16 season by NBA Digital to broadband and mobile subscribers on iOS and Android devices. Details on where else these new offerings may be purchased, and information regarding 2015-16 pricing for all NBA LEAGUE PASS packages, will be announced in mid-July.

Along with the new packages, NBA LEAGUE PASS will continue to offer its traditional, comprehensive full season package, which provides access to nearly 1,000 live out-of-market games and a rich archive of NBA content.

I hope that the NBA will start editing the archives (like MLB.tv does) and remove all the extra unnecessary filler during commercials/halftime. They could cut most archived games in length from 2 hrs 20 mins to about 1 hr 20 mins. Currently, if I go back and watch any archives (from past reg season, playoffs etc.) all the breaks are left in with a pointless Stats slate that's outdated with info from that night the game originally aired. There could even be a delay of 24 or 48 hours before the edited version archive would be available and I would be totally fine with that. Really hope they are considering that for this upcoming season.

Also, 60fps for the Broadband League Pass on streaming devices (Roku, Playstation, Apple TV, etc) would be another nice addition. Currently the streams are only 30fps and definitely isn't as smooth and natural (especially during motion) as watching on D*.
